Sorta Team Building

Today, ahm yesterday actually, I went out with my friends slash teammates slash office mates together with one of our colleague. We had dinner and watched hancock. The movie was great and we really enjoyed watching it. But the best thing about it is that It was our first time to go out, maybe not just as regular officemates but as friends.

For me it was more of a bonding. We had a lot of good times and good laughs as well which is a good thing because we get to know each other maybe not that much but at least it’s a start of something new. And it’s all worth it, because of the bonding and friendship that we are trying to build.

Now I understand why we don’t get to see our friends that much. But of course, It doesn’t mean that when we found another set of friends we’d just dumped our old friends and hang out with the new ones. Instead, we learn to balance it.

I am happy with my current work and company, but I’m happier because of our friendship. Naks!

Just an update

Wow, it’s been a long time since i updated this blog. Anyways, this is just an update.

Been working with an IT company for almost a month now and so far I’m enjoying every single day of my job, you know how it feels when its your first job. (hehe) We’ve done so many things during our first month with the company. We had Weblogic training, it is a web server just like tomcat which is used to run web applications. And then we were included in one of our department’s project, though we were only given a low risk jobs but again its a good experience for us. Next week we’re gonna do some testing and merging so I’m a little excited about that.

Work means money. Hehe. I realized how hard it is to earn money and the taxes are really high. Bah!

What else? Right! Just got home from tagaytay. My friends and I went there for a coffee and the usual tawanan and endless kwentuhan. Kahit na paulit-ulit. But it was fun, kahit na mahal na ang gas.

On Pacquiao… Last night, we made a deal on who’s going to win between Pacquiao and Diaz. My cousin bets on, of course, Pacquiao so I have no choice, I’m with Diaz. Go Diaz. hehe I like Pacquiao and I know he’ll win easily but we’ll never know what to expect from Diaz. Goodluck to both of these great fighters!

Casino. Last Tuesday we went to Casino Filipino in Paranaque not to play but to watch Ogie Alcasid. Yep, my mother is not the type of person who would go to such place but she insisted to see Ogie Sing. Hehe After that, we rolled some machines but we were not lucky that night.

Yeah, my mom went back to Riyadh. Aw! No more baon and good foods…Hihi.

Feel sleepy right now so I guess I’ll blog next time. And I’m hoping to blog more and give you an interesting read.

The reason why I want to go to Busuanga Palawan via SEAIR…

My barkada and I have been planning to go out of town to celebrate because:
1. 3 of my friends passed the recent civil engineering board exam
2. one of our barkada graduated last April
3. the other one is graduating this term
4. And I say hello to work and goodbye to unemployment
5. We haven’t been there… I heard its nice there

It will be a fun experience if we all get the chance to go to palawan via seair. This would be a nice gift for our success and for our almost ten years of friendship. And we’d love to try SEAIR and visit Palawan. I hope we win plane tickets to Busuanga Palawan via SEAIR.

Goodbye Unemployment!

Sawakas! Matapos ang ilang taon at buwan at araw na paghihintay, nagpapaalam na po ako sa buhay ng pagiging bum o tambay. yep yep tama ang nababasa mo!

A week ago, sinabi na sa amin ang resulta ng java boot camp training. Sadly, two of my co-trainees didn’t make it. Pero syempre masaya ako kasi may trabaho na ako!

Medyo nakakakaba kasi sobrang pressure eto dahil wala lang, confidential e haha. So pano, siguro magiging busy ako at medyo di na ako makakapagblog though kakabayad ko lang ng hosting fees sa hostingph using paypal, naks! opo gumagamit ako ng paypal at may laman siya. So yon lang sa ngayon. yahoo!

End of the Training

Yesterday was the last day of our java boot camp training. Mixed emotions nga. Masaya kasi tapos narin ang training pero malungkot kasi nasanay ka sa routine na yon tapos biglang mawawala. Another thing eh yong kaba naman, kabado kasi di namin alam kung ano ang magiging status namin ngayon. Pero hopefully lahat kami makapasok at para naman worth it yong pagod at puyat pati narin ang jollibee for the whole training.

Syempre mamimiss ko ang aking station na hanggang matapos ang training ay wala parin akong name. Mamimiss ko ang sunod sunod na problems at pati narin ang pang-aasar sa aking ka-trainee. Mamimiss ko ang pagpasok sa APC pati narin ang clorets ng shell select. Ang tumambay sa may harap ng kainan sa labas. At higit sa lahat, mamimiss ko ang mga tao na kahit papano ay naging parte ng aking buhay. Naks!

During the training, nakakilala ako ng mga bagong kaibigan na sana ay tuloy tuloy parin hanggang sa huli. Hay nakakamiss tuloy…

O siya. Sana makapagpost naman ako ng interesting post someday haha.. nawala na ang sigla sa pagsusulat at puro personal na eto.. hehe
